Open for Business: Regions Bank Unveils Nashville West Location

Branch built around local expertise, more personal service and updated technology.

By Kim Borges | January 30, 2020

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Jan. 30, 2020  – Regions Bank on Thursday announced the opening of its latest location in the Music City. The Nashville West branch at 6704 Charlotte Pike becomes the latest Middle Tennessee Regions location to feature more personalized services while leveraging enhanced technology to extend service hours.

“Our city continues to grow, and Regions has been here every step of the way,” said Lee Blank, Market Executive for Regions in Nashville. “The opening of the Nashville West branch reflects Regions’ commitment to building on our legacy of service in the city by reaching more people and advancing the economic growth of our community. Nashville represents both the tradition of the past – and the potential of the future – for Regions.”

The Nashville West branch features an open floor plan.

There is no waiting in a traditional teller line. Instead, when people arrive, they are greeted personally by a banker who can meet a full range of branch-banking needs. The result is less time waiting to be referred to other bankers for specialized services and more time spent receiving personal attention from financial professionals focused on helping customers reach their own, unique goals.

“Banking is such a personal experience,” said Melanie Blank, Nashville-based Consumer Banking Executive for Regions. “We’re focused on providing a combination of the latest technology with the expertise of our local team to offer customers the resources they need for each step of their financial journey.”

The technology at Nashville West includes Regions Video Banking ATMs. These machines not only dispense cash – they also can accept deposits of cash or checks and facilitate funds transfers around the clock. Further, the ATMs give customers the choice to connect with a Regions Video Banker via live, two-way video for personal service during an extended set of hours.

Regions Video Bankers are available on weekdays from 7 a.m. – 8 p.m. CT. They are also available on Saturdays from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., Sundays from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. and during most holidays.

Regions will host a grand opening at Nashville West Saturday, Feb. 1, from 10:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. The event will include a catered barbecue lunch, games and a chance to register to win a LifeGreen Regions custom cruiser bicycle and helmet.

The bank will also have its LifeGreen big bike onsite for photos.

On Friday, Jan. 31, Regions associates will be at the Publix Super Market at Hill Center from 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. collecting food donations benefitting Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee. Shoppers who donate a non-perishable food item will receive a Regions reusable shopping bag while supplies last. Regions will also host an “Our Backyard, Your Backyard” food truck event in the branch parking lot in late February.
