Making a Difference in St. Louis: ICCC Helps Small-Business Owners Take the Next Step

Innovative, cost-free education brings top business professors to entrepreneurs.

Local business owners. Harvard professors. Economic experts. Business coaches.

All in one room.

All of them focused on one goal: helping small businesses grow.

That’s how Inner City Capital Connections works.

ICCC connects small-business owners with cost-free business training from some of the top professors in the nation. Regions Bank sponsors ICCC, along with partner organizations, in various cities served by the bank.

In 2016, Regions worked with the St. Louis Regional Chamber to bring ICCC to St. Louis, Mo., for the first time in the program’s history. Regions and the Chamber recruited more than 100 local entrepreneurs, who came together at Washington University in St. Louis for an action-packed, all-day, high-energy training event designed to help them grow their companies, serve more customers and hire more people.

ICCC works specifically with companies that have a presence, or provide services, in urban or economically underserved communities.

More about this innovative program – and the difference it is making for St. Louis business owners – can be seen in the video above.
