With an already growing enterprise, #1 Voice Fleet Trucking Company owner Shannie Lipsie turned to Ascentium Capital and Regions Bank to finance a 40-foot goose-neck trailer that would make the Houston-based small business even more competitive.
“As a business owner with disabilities, having 100% control of my business is important to me,” said Lipsie. “Regions Bank and Ascentium Capital make it so easy. They provided a stress-free process with very quick turnaround to finance my new trailer for my transportation business. They’ve both been an asset to me getting my company up and running!”
A national equipment financing firm, Ascentium Capital joined the Regions family in April 2020. Since the acquisition, teams at Regions and Ascentium have been focused on integrating associates and platforms into a shared environment, while continuing to offer high-level customer service and expedited credit approvals small-business customers expect from the firm in financing their equipment needs.
The branch network already focuses on providing small-business customers with the right products and support, so offering Ascentium solutions really enhanced our ability to meet customer needs.

Lipsie quickly learned about Ascentium’s full suite of products and solutions.
“Our clients are excited about how quickly they can obtain financing for the equipment they need to grow their business,” said Ginger Blake, Regions Commercial Banking Solutions group manager. “We had a client that submitted an application on a Tuesday, and we had the funds available for their purchase by Thursday morning.”
In September 2021, a pilot program to provide Ascentium products and solutions began in approximately 10% of Regions Bank branches. Today, Ascentium products are available in all branches.
“The branch network already focuses on providing small business customers with the right products and support, so offering Ascentium solutions really enhances our ability to meet customer needs,” said Adam Miller, Regions Consumer Branch Small Business and Business Priority function manager.
When the owner of Czoe Transportation, LLC in Marietta, Georgia, wanted to purchase his first box truck, he went to his local Regions branch. There he met with a Regions branch banker who helped him find the right truck and secure financing quickly and seamlessly.
“My Regions banker helped me submit an application for a new truck to expand my business,” said Kendy Pierre. “Ascentium Capital went above and beyond to help me find a truck and finance it very quickly. I had heard it could be a huge headache to buy a truck, but Regions and Ascentium made the process easy.”
Ascentium provides a consultative approach to structure lease and loan products to meet the needs of small to mid-sized businesses. Additionally, Ascentium develops finance programs for equipment providers, including manufacturers, distributors and value-added resellers. Offering financing for most business items, including new or used equipment, technology, software and commercial vehicles, the team serves clients in the commercial and industrial space, energy, franchise, quick-service restaurants, gas stations/convenience stores, healthcare, hospitality and technology.
“Through Ascentium Capital, Regions Bank is able to meet these customer needs in small-business equipment financing, and we will continue expanding our product solutions to broaden the suite of services Regions branch associates can offer from a small to mid-sized business perspective,” said Scott Underberg, Corporate Banking integration manager for Regions Bank and Ascentium. “We want them to come to the branch to talk about their banking needs specifically for commercial equipment and know that they can often be approved the same day and have their transactions funded quickly.”
