Building Relationships the Regions360 Way

By engaging partners across the bank, Regions delivers customized solutions to fit each client’s financial needs.

By Kyndle Huey | May 9, 2022

Regions prides itself on being a relationship bank. In fact, it’s the foundation of Regions’ culture. And while the relationships that bankers have with customers is paramount, it’s the relationships they have with colleagues across the bank that help them deliver the right advice and guidance to customers at the right time.

This team-based banking approach is known as Regions360, a model where team members from across Regions’ lines of business — Consumer Banking, Commercial Banking, Mortgage Banking, Wealth Management and others — work together to deliver holistic, customized solutions to meet the comprehensive financial needs of individual customers and businesses.

Elizabeth Winter, Private Wealth Management advisor and market executive in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, understands the importance of engaging colleagues across to the bank to deliver the best of Regions to the customer.

“My team members aren’t just the people I sit next to everyday, they’re throughout our footprint,” says Winter.

Several years ago, a colleague across the bank introduced Winter to a business that was looking for help with their 401(k). She met with the client, and while the 401(k) didn’t ultimately materialize, she maintained contact and cultivated the relationship so the client would know they could turn to Regions for any future financial needs.

Sure enough, down the road, the client began looking at a real estate purchase and reached out to Winter for guidance. She pointed them to Regions Commercial Banking group to assist them with the transaction. The relationship came full circle when, a bit later, the client sold the business and looked to Regions and Winter for Wealth Management.

Because of her relationships with team members across the bank, Winter was able to bring in the right partners to help meet the client’s complex needs.

“Our relationships with our customers evolve over time and if you know who your team members are, the more people they see that the bank can deliver, the more confidence they’re going to have in the quality that we all know we have,” states Winter.

Delivering shared value for customers and the company by understanding needs and doing what is right for customer — it’s the Regions360 way.
